To satisfy the needs of Chinese market for high performance but also price wise competitive equipments, Bosch Packaging Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd was established as an entirely foreign owned company in April of 2001, in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. In January of 2002, the company produced the first GKF 700 for pharmaceutical industry, and later in June of 2003 was the first bag form fill and seal machine for food industry. In September of 2003, the company established its own sales, marketing and after service team in mainland China. In 2005 the business unit “Confectionary” started the design and manufacturing of machines for the confectionary-industry. One year later the company moved to the Hangzhou Economic and Technological Development Area. The move to the new facility provided adequate capability for a significant increase in production volume. Another major step towards an extended portfolio of machines for the pharmaceutical industry has been done in January 2007, where the production of liquid filling lines for sterile applications has been started in Hangzhou.

Bosch Packaging Technology (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd now occupies 35,000 square meters, of several hundreds dedicated associates in Hangzhou and become the biggest Bosch packaging plant in Asia. In China, we offer engineering and design, manufacturing, sales and after service for packaging machines in the pharmaceutical, confectionery, and cosmetics industries, as well as other food and non-food industries. Besides the main plant in Hangzhou, a sales office has been established in Beijing and Guangzhou. After-Sales-Service for all of these industries is done out of Hangzhou and a service-station in Beijing.
